Stimulating Collagen
Overtime, our ability to produce collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid naturally slows down, resulting in lax skin tonality, loose skin, deep lines, and reduced skin quality and firmness. By stimulating collagen and elastin, skin quality can be improved, as well as fine lines, firmness, and hydration.
Due to regulatory restrictions, we are unable to show prices or provide advice without an in-person consultation. Please book in an in-person consultation for a thorough assessment to ensure safety and transparency with our treatments. All non-surgical cosmetic treatments are performed by Grace Chau (Registered Nurse).

Swelling, itchiness, and tenderness is expected, especially in the first 2-3 days of treatment, as well as a slight bump at the treatment sites before resolving. Incidents of inflammatory reactions (erythema, edema, etc) sometimes associated with itching and pain to the touch may occur, and hardening or nodules may appear. These reactions may persist for 7-10 days (please contact us if this persists for more than 10 days). There is always a risk of bruising, which resolves with time.
A very rare complication is vascular occlusion where filler has entered into an artery or vein, and prevents blood flow and oxygenation to surrounding tissue. This can result in tissue necrosis, stroke, and blindness. This is rare, and occlusions can be reversed and managed with appropriate, timely intervention. Other rare complications include infection, allergic reactions, and granulomas.
2 - 3 sessions is recommended for best results. Intervals between sessions range from 4-6 weeks, and 2-3 months depending on assessment. Results can be seen 4-6 weeks after the first session, though best results are usually seen around 3 months post-treatment (studies show results continue to improve over 24 months). Maintenance sessions are recommended every 12-18 months (though individual results vary).
BEFORE your treatment:
- Avoid taking aspirin, NSAIDS, anticoagulant medications, gingko biloba, garlic, flax oil, cod liver oil, vitamin A, vitamin E, and any other essential fatty acids the week before your treatment
- On the day of treatment, DO NOT use make-up, lotions, creams, serums, tanners, or any other products on the areas to be treated
- DO NOT wax, bleach, use depilatory creams, or have electrolysis for 4 weeks
- Avoid any chemical peels, facials, laser, and microdermabrasion for 2 weeks prior to your treatment in the same area
- Avoid prolonged sun exposure for 2 weeks before your treatment for best results (SPF 50+ is always highly recommended at all times during the day)
AFTER your treatment:
- Massage the treatment area firmly 5 times a day, for 5 minutes, for the next 5 days (failure to do so increases your risk of complications such as granulomas and nodules)
- Avoid any heat-inducing activities and rigorous exercise for at least 2 days after treatment (activities including physical strain, headfirst movements, and sports)
- Avoid any other non-surgical treatments (in the same area) and dermal treatments for 2 weeks after treatment (4 weeks for fractional resurfacing)
- Do not apply any make-up for 24 hours and avoid touching the treatment site for the next few hours to reduce infection risk
- No dental procedures 2 weeks after treatment
- Avoid sauna, steam bath, icy temperatures, or UV radiation by the sun for 2 weeks after treatment
